ZapTodo started with a simple observation. Most task management tools fall into one of two camps: overly complex platforms loaded with features you never use, or bare-bones apps that can't keep up with a busy schedule. There had to be something in between.
The idea took shape in late 2025, driven by a deep interest in how people actually organize their work. After months of research, prototyping, and real-world testing, ZapTodo launched in early 2026 with a clear purpose: build a task app that adapts to the way people work, not the other way around.
